Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to many court and agency records, but Butts County does not use a one-office records model. The Clerk of Superior Court keeps Superior Court civil, criminal, real estate, jury, and appeal records. Probate Court handles estates, guardianships, marriage licenses, vital records, and county traffic citations. Magistrate Court handles warrant applications, evictions, garnishments, and smaller civil suits. Sheriff/Jail records follow their own request route. We pull together the contact details, portals, fees, and request steps for those offices into one place.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
